Jeff Seidman has served as corporate vice president of human resources for CORT since 2001. In his role, he is responsible for all aspects of human resources, including benefits, compensation, employee relations, compliance, talent development, HRIS and HR technology, training and recruiting, risk management and safety. He oversees a staff of 22.
Prior to joining CORT, Jeff was the vice president of human resources for Sweetheart Cup Company and for The Fonda Group, both manufacturing companies that convert paper and plastics for the foodservice industry. Jeff has also served as director of operations and director of human resources for the Hoffmaster Division of Scott Paper Company. He started his career in the chemicals industry with Air Products and Chemicals as a regulatory and legislative specialist, primarily focusing on issues related to chemical transportation and chemical safety for the semi-conductor industry.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from The University of Dayton and a Master of Business Administration from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. He and his wife live in Clifton, Virginia. They have three grown children and five grandchildren. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys golfing, woodworking, spending time with family and following a variety of sports.
