Paula Newell
Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations

Paula Newell is Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations for the Eastern U.S. Paula joined CORT in 1998 and has served many roles, including assistant district general manager, district general manager, area manager, regional vice president of sales and most recently vice president of national accounts, where she was responsible for the strategic business development and national sales teams, as well as the national client services team, and has worked to improve communications and streamline processes to support a more effective organization. At the core of Paula’s leadership is the ability to connect with those around her, providing guidance, support and vision both to the individual and team while ensuring accountability and the organizational drive for results.

Prior to CORT, Paula served as operations, sales and merchandising manager for Levitz Furniture on the West Coast.

Paula resides in Gainesville, Virginia, with her husband Jeff. The couple have two sons, Michael, 27, and Shaffer, 10. Paula spends her free time with family and friends and can be found on the weekends at the baseball fields watching her son’s travel team play. Paula received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University San Bernardino.
