Paula Newell
Chief Operating Officer

Paula Newell is Chief Operating Officer for CORT. Paula joined CORT in 1998 and has served many roles, including assistant district general manager, district general manager, area manager, regional vice president of sales, vice president of national accounts, where she was responsible for the strategic business development and national sales teams, as well as the national client services team, and executive vice president of sales and operations for the eastern U.S. where she worked to improve communications and streamline processes to support a more effective organization. Most Recently Paula held the position of executive vice president of CORT Furniture Operations for the U.S. where she provides oversight for all furniture rental and furniture outlet operations. Prior to CORT, Paula served as operations, sales, and merchandising manager for Levitz Furniture on the West Coast.

Paula resides in Haymarket, Virginia, with her husband Jeff. Paula spends her free time with family and friends and can be found on the weekends at the baseball fields watching her youngest son’s travel and high school teams play. She also enjoys volunteering, travelling, and spending as much time with her grandsons as possible. Paula received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University San Bernardino.
